Grilled Nebrodini Bianco
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. Nebrodini Bianco mushrooms, sliced ⅓-inch thick
- 1 – 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. fresh oregano, chopped
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp. crushed red chili pepper (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and mix well.
- Lay out sliced mushrooms on a plate and spoon dressing over them; allow to marinate for 5-15 minutes.
- Place slices on grill so that they are at least ½ inch apart and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Once golden brown and crispy on both sides, remove to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh herbs.
